Tomorrow he goes for a Cat of the stomach and the pelvic area---
One trip taken care of~~~~~~
Today the optomologist opened another avenue for his eye fluid to run and not clog up---and it was a snap---how much $$$ of a snap I cont know yet
Wednesday--the other eye gets done---along with another snap````
He did say it was a nothing thing and inside of 1/2 hour all vision restored--
Now I wasnt ready for this---
Cateracts to be done also----within a few weeks--
There are 2 options---
1. Keratorefractive sugery to correct pre Xisting astigmatism/or myopia or hyperopia to Max. uncorrected distance---Price---$950.00 each eye!!
2. Presbyopic correction intraocular lens combined with the Keratorefractive surgery as needed to maximize uncorrected near and distance vision--cost----$2,900 each eye
In other words U want ground *chicken livers or the whole chicken with the livers
I was like *HUH!!!!
The more $$$$$ option will elimanate all together
Havent the faintess idea what all those other words mean and I am NOT going into the puter to find out!!!!
BUT--get a load of this-----the cataracts are done in New Jersey---and they pick us up and take us there and then they drive us home-----
NOW---thats service!!!!
I told Luigi--listen I will by a collar and leash---tie it around ya neck and by your GUIDE
He didnt think that was too funny~~~~no humor!!!!
Thankfully for Medicare and our secondary----so the end total, outta our pocket, should not be too much to give me a heart attack!!!
Thats the news!!!!!!
luve and
Barbara

the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self-control
WOW!! and YIKES to all that Ka-ching $$$$$$$
Does insurance cover any of it?
My mother had cataracts removed and an intraocular lens put in each eye....it was amazing! she no longer needs glasses/contacts! she had really poor vision (I'm talking "Coke bottle" glasses) and now she's almost 20/20 in one eye and 20/40 in the other!
GOOD LUCK.....we don't want you to have to settle for just the chicken livers!
I hope Luigi is feeling ok (with the uro. problem - sounds painful)
Love,
Mo
