Hi everyone,
I'd like to explore everyone's definition of norman. I'm sure I've not met him yet but I seem to remember a while back someone saying that it never goes back to before MC. Mine are still alternating between softly formed and unformed. when my colon heals what should I expect. I still have days with multiple bowel movements and the amount is definitely more than I went before. I know everyone is probably different, and I think some of you say you get constipated...does that mean it's really hard or that you don't go everyday? And does the amount get less the more time goes by.

Sorry to be the first person today to be gross...but I'm really curious as to what to expect.

Thanks potty people....who else could I talk to about this than you guys.LOL.

Well *NORMAN* is the stool that enters the

--FIRM---SOLID---

He is the guy we want to visit us ALL the time in his SOLID CONDITION--

Of course we do forgive NORMAN if he *sloshes* a bit but he always comes back----and I know when NORMAN returns its like a :party:

Gross---never-----to the point --always!!!!

Sorry for excessive grossness, but my definition is:

Clean toilet paper: no obvious need for cottonelle or diaperwipes or throwing away your underwear. Completely solid preferred but not manatory.

I am with Marsha..LOL Especially the part about not having to throw your underwear away...!

I guess I could add that for me.. my acceptable definition is that he does not arrive without warning and is fairly well scheduled. I can live with a couple of trips to the throne room in the morning for some soft formed "normans"...

Yep I agree with grannyh and Marsha.. CLEAN TOILET PAPER! Of course I have to say with a small amount of pride that I have had Norman for 3 months (with out Asacol)

So after you think the colon is healed ....do you still poop larger quantities like I am now....or have you gone back to the same quantity as before MC?
