Graduation~~~heart warming to my toes

Post by barbaranoela »

Well when we left here---it was hot/humid--overcast-

Lynn had called and said it was sunny and nary a :raincloud:

By the time we arrived it became over cast there and a few drops BUT as the ceremony started----it still was over cast---but a little blue of the sky *peeked* thru----

I have to say it was a wonderful ceremony----
And being held on the field was quite a beautiful sight---
The grounds are magnificent----the track is awesome---
Kris was in the band---flute~~~

And they had all the flags flying ,representing each state!!!
Then the color guard came in---and that is always such a sight to see---
God bless Americal was sung and then the Star Spangled Banner--which brings tears to anyones eyes--

I looked @ Kait and swelled with such pride---I looked @ Lynn(who can be a pain in the butt) and gave her a hug---saying U did a great job!!

All the graduates are to be honored but Kait just melted our hearts-
She wasnt feeling good but in her cap and gown she glowed~~

Lynn looked @ me and said---*mom--I often wondered if this day would happen---and by golly it did--

It was so super to see all the kids that *hugged* Kait-

We got home @ 9pm----and I just sat,for a bit, and thought----*I saw Kait walk down that aisle in her cap and gown---she made it!!!

What a day---

Good night for now--
keep a

Wow! Barbara,

That was a beautiful report on the ceremony. As I read it, I was transported THERE with you.

There won't be a dry eye on the board, after everyone reads your post.

Yep. She did it. Fantastic!

Twinnie I am so happy for you all, Kait in particular. :cheerleader: You must be so proud of her & all she has achieved. It is an even greater accomplishment for Kait because she has had such a hard road to travel. She deserves all the praise & recognition she is getting from her family & friends.

Lotsa Love to you all

Twinnie2

ps

And give Kait an extra special hug from we here down under as well.

 Tex was right...no dry eyes.

Please tell Kait how proud we are of her and how happy we are for her.
