I am not dead. That's the good news. I hope.

The rest of the news is that I had Thea and Korben living here for four months and I will NEVER do that again. I am a GRANDmother, NOT a mother. Been there, done that. And I was not 64 years old. Grandchildren are wonderful and so are daughters, but I much prefer them at a slight distance. It is a long story which I won't go into, but I guess whatever Thea's problems are, they are being resolved in Eugene.

More good news, I hope. Since I had such a great time at Lori's last night and since I am not moving anywhere, I have decided that NEXT YEAR I AM GOING TO HOST ANOTHER WEST COAST POOTY PEOPLE GATHERING AT MY HOUSE. I know this is a bit early, but I figure that a year will give everyone time to pack their undies. I can't stand it. I MISS YOU GUYS!!!!!
I have even acquired another bed in the living room. A new couch which opens up into a queen sized bed that I have on good authority is very comfortable.

So start making your plans and lets do it. Too much has been going on without me being in the middle of it, Peg.

Hi Sally,

It's really great to see you back. We all missed you very much, (probably more than you can imagine).

The penguins replaced the sunflowers that we originally had, to represent certain thresholds in the number of posts listed for each member. Penguins seem to have a lot of fans here.

I reckon there'll be a lot of catching up going on tomorrow when most members check in and see that you're back.

But I would love to visit you again. Your home is so perfect for a PP gathering. And you are such a good cook! Will you have GF fajitas and fried rice again? YUM. Actually, that's too much work. We can order out and save you a lot of trouble if you wish. Please let Gaea know that she will have to bake me another one of those good lookin' GF cakes.

Glad you have your freedom (and privacy) back again. I agree with Barb about the puzzle. Also, a parent's job is to give kids "roots and wings", and it's time for the wings, right?

I picked up quite a cold after my incredible whirl-wind trip to New York (did you check out the pics?), and am resting and filling myself full of liquids (non-alchoholic!) to try and take care of it.

I'm happy things have settled more for you. You deserve it!

Great to hear from you! Sounds like you have had your hands full with your grandchildren- hope you were able to enjoy them as I'm sure they loved being with you no matter what the circumstances.

BTW, thank you for the committment you put into getting your board up and running. You and many others here are indeed mc pioneers(does make you feel old?) and without the foundation you all prepared we simply, would not be here today. This is indeed, a good place!
