Officially overwhelmed

Post by celia »

I really feel overwhelmed now! I don't know how I will finish everything in the next four days.

I finished our 2005 taxes today and got about halfway on preparing the information for our 2006 taxes. Tommorrow I need to finish labeling and packing all the books (about 10 boxes) that we are loaning to our local Buddhist Center. Wedensday, I plan to pack all my bags to see if I can really get everything in 3 bags and a carry on. I already starting a pile of clothes to give to the Goodwill. Then need to pack the boxes we are storing at a friend's place. I'm hoping to have Thursday and Friday for clearning out all remaining items and cleaning the apartment, but we have plenty of other miscelleneous tasks as well. The list seems endless!

Tomorrow I have my last appointment with my naturopath, and then need to order any vitamins I want to take to France. I also have to see the dentist to correct the bite on the bridge I have redone, and stop by the optician to have the lenses in my sunglasses switched.

I guess I left too many things for the last week. Oh well!

Eeek! Trying to stay calm and cool. One thing for sure, it will all be done sometime by Friday night...not too late I hope. Then I hop on a plane on Sunday to go to Seattle to see my brother for 5 days.

Hope you are all having a more relaxing time!
Hugs, Celia

Hang in there Celia! If anyone can get it done - you can!

Good luck in the next phase of your journey - you'll be missed here!

Love,
Mars

Celia!

I'd say you are pretty amazing! You must have a wonderful feeling of freedom, having disencumbered yourself from most worldly possessions.

Does this mean that we will not hear from you again after Fri.? I hope not. We will really MISS you.

Love,

Polly

So, nose to the grindstone!

Well Celia, when you are at the Buddhist place in France, THEN you can relax. You'll appreciate it all the more after all this hecticness. Sounds like you are organized, though busy. I'm thinking you have a list and are checking things off. Best of luck. Here's a photo I took a couple weeks ago to keep you motivated!

Thanks so much everyone! I love that pretty image. And you are right, once I'm there, all I have to do is relax for 3 years!!!!

The stars must have changed position because things are much more calm for me today.

I 'test' packed my 3 bags and carry on, and guess what?!? Everything didn't fit. I might have to get one bigger bag or use those bags that you suck the air out of to pack your clothes very tightly.

It's feel manageable at the moment! Hugs, Celia
