Evacuation update--

Post by barbaranoela »

Morning all----First----we have friends in Doylestown---and they doing OK~~~

The issue where Lynn is---they worried about the Delaware cresting--
BUT she is ok-----
The problem being ---when there is reavy RAINS---Lynn's ground doesnt absorb---and then she floods into the basement--
She does have a PUMP--and YES---U guessed it---tomorrow HE and I are going to Port Jervis to check the basement---
Lou bringing his pump and if need be we will *pump* out--(if there be any flooding---)

I thought a good idea would be to call WILL and ask him to go and check but :banned:

Of course seeing all the flooding that has hit certain towns is UNBELIEVABLE---

Again---thankful for our location and safety and keeping *all* that have been affected encircled with a *white* light~~~~

Keep a
luv Barbara

I hate to say this, Barbara, but what about the cats you mentioned in another post? Is someone watching out for them or don't you know?
Sorry, just had to ask.

I know Louie will feel better when he has done a "hands on" inspection. I'm kind of the same way myself. Can be irritating at times, I know.

Grateful you and yours are safe.

Love, Shirley

The first thing I saw on CNN was that parts of New York state were flooding. And they had the words NEW CITY written in big letters right in the middle of the map. So, not believing everything I see on TV, I rushed here to find out what the real scoop was. I'm am glad that you and Luigi are safe, but I am sorry to hear about Lynn's basement. (And your friend's, too, Maggie) I hope that this is over now and that everyone can get back and see what they have to deal with. What a mess. I'm glad you are all safe.

I also heard about two boys being swept away by the current in the Susquehannah. WHERE IN THE WORLD WERE THEIR PARENTS?????

Love,

Sally

Hi Barb

Saw something on TV about flooding in New York. I hope that you & Lou & of course Carrie are OK. Been busy for last few days with grandkids, doctor, physio & VIEW club & have not had much of a chance to log in.

Love
