Post by barbaranoela »

the biopsy, of the larger node, showed clean as a whistle!!!

the best NEWS----no need for MEDS. anybody have comments on this issue? cus I was all set for more pills!!!!

and as I said---the second blood work-up was normal (the fluke  )

so all I need to do---is get another blood work up in a month!!!! and we shall keep track of things in this manner--

and I asked ENDO. about YOGA *helping* the thyroid issues----
the answer is----NO!!!! but *barbara keep doing*

so how do U figure the writings on YOGA helping the functions of the thyroid and all other parts of the body???

is this a MYTH---I know the *soreness* I feel is NO MYTH

Hi Barbara,

Good for you. I'm glad your thyroid is okay and you don't need to take more pills. The less the better.

Love,
Cristi

I am so glad that the biopsy came back negative!! I've been thinking about that for days, It seemed like forever to get the results back. I'm sure that it seemed even longer to you.

Now about your doc and yoga and that kind of stuff. Western medicos have done studies on yogis who were able to lower their blood pressure and slow down their brain waves simply by doing yoga and meditation. If you accept that, then it is perfectly possible that yoga could also have an effect on your thyroid either directly or indirectly. In that department, I would tend to believe thousands of years of Indian and Buddhist obeservations. Keep on doing it!!!! Your doc was right about that.

Have a good day, Miss BN.

Namaste.

Thanks MOI--
Well lets put it this way-----I would say that *YOGA DOESNT* stop nodes from forming----

But I do believe that YOGA DOES help the FUNCTIONING of all parts of the body--inner and outer( not the belly button  )

Article was great----thank U again---

Namaste~~

Hi Barbara, I am thankful for you that your biopsy turned out well. Last Summer I had to have 2/3 of my Thyroid removed and I STILL don`t have to take meds. The body is an amazing piece of machinery. Love Carol Arnett.

HOORAY!!!

What wonderful news! I can just imagine how THRILLED you must be, Sis.

Now if we could just get that stone of Lou's to disappear, too, we'd be all set!

Love,

Polly
