Brice

Post by Sally »

I am about to take off for Corvallis (about an hour south of here) to pick Brice up at an abandoned gas station. His father is bringing him up from Eugene and we like to meet at that place because in the summer time it's nice and shady and right off the freeway. That way each person only has to drive halfway.

Peg needs a little vacation from being a single Mom so Brice is coming up here for awhile. I have to figure out things to do. Like taking him over to the arcade and bumper cars place again. There goes Grandma!!!

I have joined a book club here in Charbonneau and am about to start training to work for the Hospice people that took such good care of my mother. I hope that I can do half as good a job as they did. I will be a companion to people who are dying and their families. These are all afternoon activities so that I won't have to drive at night. Yay!! So I am doing something for me and something for others. A good mix.

Lots ot love,

Sally

What a wonderful gift the Hospice caregivers gave to my mother and our family when mom was sick.

It takes a very special person to do the things they do. I'm glad you've found a balance in your life - what a wonderful feeling that is!

Love,
Mars

Morning Sally,

You are a great gramdma and I wish I was able to see my 2 grandsons more than once a year but for now that will have to do. Too expensive to be flying off to England when I want to see them.

Your work at the hospice will be ideally suited to you. You are a kind and loving person and you will be the perfect fit for helping those less fortunate in their lives.

Love, Maggie

Sally.....what a wonderful thing you are doing!!!!!! My mother had Hospice Care during the last six months of her life and was treated with love, respect and dignity. I will be forever grateful to them. Thank you for being such a giving soul. Love, Carol
