Prayers for Harry

Hello everyone....First of all I would like to thank Barbara for requesting prayers for my husband, Harry, and secondly I would like to thank all of you who responded to that request.

I spoke with his doctor tonight and he told me that they are looking at the possibilility of Sepsis, secondary to an infection elsewhere....probably in the lungs or kidneys. None of the cultures have had time yet to grow anything so it a waiting game. Meanwhile, the doctor is treating him with a wide spectrum antibotic, and IV fluids.

Harry called me at 11PM and said that his heart had gone into a strange rhythym and they are also treating him for that. He has a 23 year history of cardiac problems, so it is routine for them to put him in the telementry unit even if he was in for an ingrown toenail.

I apologize for making a whole story out of this but I am so worried about him and would like to request again, from all of you who believe in prayer, to please say some extra ones for him. I am a firm believer that prayer works, and especially, as the Bible says, if there be more than two gathered in His name.

Thanks for the update, and rest assured that we will continue to pray for him. I hope they track down the origin of the infection, ASAP.

Hard to do but U also have to think of keeping yourself *alltogether*

Nice to hear from you, but sorry about the circumstances.
I'm praying for him also and hope the antibiotics will help some and that the diagnosis will pinpoint the problem so he can get the treatment he needs.
