Tired and Crabby

Post by kate_ce1995 »

Well, if you've gotten this far, you're doing well!

I have been so sleepy this week. And its been a busy week at work. And Geoff started working 4 10-hour days this week so he now (for the rest of the summer at least) has Fridays off. It was so hard to get up and go this morning with him still sleeping (and bragging about being off).

I am weaning off my antidepressant. I was put on it 5 or 6 years ago for generalized anxiety. But I really feel that those episodes were related largely to the hormone problems (and the docs telling me I was fine despite my body screaming at me and a gut full of foreign crap), but I suspect that is part of the sleepiness this week. Otherwise its going well, and I haven't had the nasty "brain zaps" that they warned me about. Today should be the last pill. I've been alternating days this week so we'll see how I feel on Sunday when I'm in day 2 without.

We are just so busy as a family too that I don't feel like I am ever home any more. Just tired....

 Katy, I'm sorry you are going through a rough time with the fatigue. Sure hoping that stopping the anitdepressant will improve things.
Any chance the pace of activities might slow down a bit anytime soon and let you catch your breath?

Lots of love and I know how you feel.

Oh Katy, what a bummer! I wish there was something I could do to *pick you up*. I know what you mean about being tired and crabby, in my case it was pain that did it to me, but it will pass....honest, it will.
