YOO-HOO MO~~~~~

Post by barbaranoela »

How have U been feeling?

Did U see that commercial advertising--this stuff called RUB-ON--showing the gal rubbing it across her brow??? They dont say WHAT but I gather its for headache/maybe migraine pain???

Kait is going to Dominican College --in the next town from us--it was one she liked--not being too far from family--just in case of an EMERGENCY--and it does cater to kids who have issues---

Now this will depend on what the college can do with re-arranging her schedule so as she can tolerate classwork--

She wants to be in the MEDICAL field---so that she can HELP people who suffer with HYDROCEPHALUS --as she does----and which is not CURABLE---but TREATABLE!!!! and with better results than what Kait has had---
So I would assume it would be in the neurosurgical department--

Time will tell~~~~
Luve Barbara

PS. and if U read my newer post----I dont even know if she will be able to attend college---

Hi Barb,

Yeah, I saw that commercial......the product is called "Head On" It says you can find it at the store but I can't find it! I tried CVS and Walmart but they didn't carry it.

GOOD NEWS.....I haven't had a migraine or even a headache since last Tues.! almost 1 week! :bear: I don't know if the chiropractor is helping or just getting off all the meds.............maybe a combination of both.

So Kait wants to go into the medical field.....I think she would be really good at it seeing as she has spent so much time in hospitals....

My son has been through a lot.......I told him he should go into the med. field.....I don't think he's interested though.....

I hope you have yourself a wonderful day! Keep smiling!

Love,
Mo

YES---a chiropractor CAN be of help--

I used one for many years and I had good results----now I believe that the Xercizers I HAVE been doing @ home + yoga is keeping me fit as a fiddle--
Sometimes an ouch or a groan  but thats ok---

So keep good thoughts and stay well

I will check here about that stuff--I would think that CVS or Walgreens would carry it!!

I just bought some for my sister because she said she couldn't find it anymore. I got it at a local (not chain) pharmacy. I haven't looked for it anywhere else yet but I was told that Walgreen's advertises it here.

If you don't find any, Mo............I'd be glad to mail you some. Just let me know.

Love, Shirley

P.S. I just checked the "net" and this site says it's in stock
http://www.drugstore.com/search/search. ... rch=headon
If that link doesn't work just Google Head On.
Also, Head ON apparently makes a lot of other products. I knew they made migraine & tension headache relief but there are 5 different ones listed there.

Hmmm. I have been using Tiger Balm for the same thing ever since I was a kid. It looks like Head On has much the same formulation except it does not have camphor. I don't have migraines so I have never used it for that. Just ordinary garden variety headaches.

While I am on the subject those commercials GIVE me a head ache.

I think the camphor is greasy which is maybe why they left it out. I'd rather have a greasy forehead than an achy one.

Sally

 I have said the same thing about the commercials, Sally. There is a local one also that will give a person a headache so I'm blessed with two of those suckers! You'd think people making commercials would avoid that.
