Need Input Please!

Post by annie oakley »

Hi All ....this started out as a taste bud that swelled up . This has happened before because I ate something that irritated the taste buds on my tongue.....this one developed a blister of sorts, or at least it looked that way about the size of an eraser on the head of a pencil. YTwo days later blister was gone and there was a spot that was left where the blister was that is real sore. Reminds me of an abrasion that has had a band aid on it for awhile and is a little whitish (white part gone now as I put a green tea bag on the tongue) but there is a slight indention where the white was. Plus my gums on that side of the mouth are a bit irritated. I have never had a mouth sore get soooo sore before. I wonder if I am eating something or if these sores are just a part of the whole nasty desease. ANy Input on this?? Love Oma

Put baking soda on it. That was my Mom's remedy. It always worked.

Yes, you just pat some onto the sore spot right out of the box. Of course it doesn't stay dry long! If you did it last night I would be surprised if you're not all better this morning. Hope so!

I'm probably late, but avoid orange juice for a while too. Sometimes that can cause/aggrevate mouth sores.
