A good reason to wash your fruit/veggies

A good reason to wash your fruit/veggies

Hi All,

I was at the grocery store and I wanted to pick out cherries. A woman was standing there already and I noticed that she had put two ears of corn on top of the cherries! I almost said something, but thought better of it.

Darn! I avoid bulk food items because of contamination, but I never considered fruit or veggies.

BTW, I bought the already packaged cherries.
