Shooting in Seattle

Post by JJ »

Hi...don't know if it has made it on the national news, but a Muslim man opened fire in the Jewish Federation Bldg late this afternoon. One person was killed and I think 3 or 4 others wounded...a couple of them are in critical condition. Police have been sent to the Temple in Tacoma, and other locations in Western WA. to stand guard... Uffda.....crazy, crazy world. They did catch a suspect.

On a happier note, today is the last day of my antibiotics, and Norman came calling twice! Did the antibiotics kill some nasty stuff in my gut too ?????

Well that's bad news, we don't need any fallout from their war inside our borders. Sigh.

And that's good news, on the Norman visit. If I remember right, the antibiotic you were taking is known to kill certain gut bacteria. I don't have any idea what sort of species spectrum it covers, but it might possibly clean house. If so, you may need to help steer things in the right direction by taking a probiotic, so that the repopulation doesn't proceed in the wrong direction. Or, if you're not dairy intolerant, you could probably do the job by drinking kefir.

Jill,

I'm so happy to hear about Norman!

Yes, it was on the national news. I watched as long as I could. I'd say Seattle has had way more than their share!

Keep well.

Love
Peg

I think that "incident" is absolutely horrible!!! :censored:

Glad about Norman. Hope you heed the advice about "repopulation". See if you can entice him to sick around.

I'm glad you'll soon be off antibiotics, never fun and that Norman has visited. We love norman.
It was a tragic thing, that shooting and so senseless. Unfortunatly I think we are in for more of the same tragic sensless violence. I pray every night that we can all, no matter our skin color or religeous origin, live together....but in the real world that just isn't gong to happen. Prayers for the victims. Love Oma

Yup, very sad situation in Seattle.

I am very, very afraid to take a probiotic....last time I tried one from the health food store, it gave me D within 3 hrs! I can't remember the name, but it was kept in the refrigerator case and cost about $20 as I recall. Activia yogurt gave me D too. I am afraid to rock the boat...help!
