Do you get an error message or does it lock you out?

If you get an error - what does it say?
"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful." -- Buddha

That's what it's supposed to look like. ?????

You may be having a browser problem, (cookie problem).

Okay, I'm not getting this.

I see no box to type a message into??? Maybe I am having a browser problem....I'll mess around with it. Can you start a new topic in that room?

Sure. I just did.

Mars, do you see anything wrong here? Her permissions look OK.

Joanna,

Try deleting the cookies in your browser's cookie manager. You may have to re-start your browser to make the change, and manually log onto the board. (IOW, don't use auto-login). This will set a new cookie, in case the old one is corrupt.

Okay, I'm stumped. Cleared the cookies on my computer and it still wouldn't give me a box to post in.

Now, I'm at Alannas computer and I have the same problem but only in the poop room it appears. When I hit the new topic button this is the screen I get and I DON'T SEE A BOX TO TYPE A MESSAGE IN! Do you?

Sorry to be such a pest...I just want to post in the POOP ROOM for heavens sake and this is driving me nuts!

Hi Joanna,

We can move the post if you are still having problems. When I connect to the link you post, I receive the box as in a "new message" post.

I don't know what the problem is but I can move the post if you want to put it here or send me a PM or start a new thread. :whatever: We'll work it out!

Love,
Mars

That's really strange, because, like Mars, when I click on the link you gave, I see everything in place, just as it's supposed to be.

If it's a cookie problem, logging on using Lannie's computer won't change anything, unless you log on using her username and password.

As Mars said, just post it as a new topic on the MMB, and one of us will move it to the poop room. Or, you can post it in the poop room, as a response to another topic, (or even here, as far as that goes), and we can split it off and make a new topic out of it.

I'll re-do your permissions, in case there's a glitch that we're overlooking. Obviously, for some reason, the system is treating you as a guest, in that room only.

Okay, I found the problem. You should be able to post there now.

Please let me know if you find a similar problem with any other forum.

Love,
Tex

THANK YOU!
