Hi Everyone.........

Post by Mars »

Sorry I've been kind of hidden lately, I've been lurking but not posting much.

I'm back to not feeling real wonderful again. On a good note, I'm able to get to sleep and stay sleep for about 4-5 hours without the Ambian! I wish it were longer but it's a start.

I've now begun to feel nausious as soon as I wake up and into the day. I break out in hives which then sends my body into an adrenalin fight! I swell, itch and am just miserable.

I'm bloating constantly and with anything I eat. Bowels are constant but soft and fluffy with no D. (Sounds like I'm doing a chart update at the docs!) I've gained some weight back and just FEEL PLAIN DOWN-RIGHT CRAPPY!

Anyways, I'm sure most of this is stress. Things are tight at home due to unexpected vet bills and Larry is trying to get his boat in the water - again. He has some repairs to do but...........well, you know.

We've laid off our support staff at the office for hopefully, a short time. Funding is coming in slow and payroll is one area you can cut back on. For those of us who are left it is hell. Not only are you behind in your own work but now you don't have support to do the "other" things. It's long days (on salary) and you're frustrated before, during and after work.

I seem to come home and do NOTHING!!!!!!! This is not good because the vicious cycle begins with the things not getting done and you're too tired to care and then when you do care, you're just too tired!!!! Oh Maaaan.

Hopefully these things will pass on by real soon. It's so frustrating to be sick and tired all day, every day = AGAIN!!!

I'm done complaining now - thanks for listening! I guess I just needed to get that off of my chest before leaving for another grueling day.

My love to all,
Mars

Mars,

I'm so sorry this is happening. I wish I knew of a simple solution.

The symptoms sound like a case of food allergy, (as opposed to food intolerance), however, most food allergic reactions should begin in a matter of a few minutes after eating the problematic food item, they shouldn't take 10 or 12 hours to show up.

It could of course, be a side effect of one or more of the meds you are taking, (assuming that you are taking any meds). And, yes, stress could be a possible factor.

It could be due to an increase in the circulating level of the hormone estrogen and/or progesterone, but if I remember correctly, though, you're not on an HRT program.

It could be due to low blood sugar. (I think we've talked about this before).

You could be sensitivity to odors, IOW, a chemical allergy.

The hives indicate you're having a pretty serious reaction. Have you checked with your doctor about this since it started?

Love,
Tex
