Oma's Reunion

Post by annie oakley »

Hi everyone.....I would have reported earlier but the 17 mo old grandson came home with us and flew out this morning. I hated to see the little guy go. He is soooo cute and had grandma and grandpa wrapped around his little finger. He's had a full set of teeth (except two mollars in the back) since he was 13 mo old. He is the spitting Image of his daddy, right down to his actions and expressions. The reunion was fun. Got to see all my favorite people. Had great Brisket. beans of many styles. Pasta salads, Chicken, potatoe salad, Pasta salads of all kinds, deserts to kill for. I didn't make one this year. I was too tired and wanted to spend my time with the boy. :barbell: I am soooo tired now tho....He wore Grandma out. I have toys scattered everywhere and baby food I don't know what to do with.
Buck and Jasmine are soooo very thrilled that Beau has gone home. But they survived as well.
When Mike and DIL dropped me at work this am (her flight was later than my start time) I kissed her and Beau goodbye, waved til they were out of sight, and then preceeded to cry. Lobe Oma

OMA!

We were looking for you yesterday.......so glad you're back with a report on the reunion. Is there anyone more exhausting than a 17 month old boy? LOL! Rest up, and please share some photos.

Love,

Polly

Morning Oma,

So happy that the reunion was a success and 17 year old boys are exhausting. Pictures wanted.

Love, Maggie

Right Maggie, 17 months or 17 years--both are exhausting!

Glad you had fun and the little guy could hang out with you for a while. I just got to spend 10 days with my 14 month old granddaughter and it was wonderful. I finally have a name--Gumma.

Did you find out how your other daughter is doing?

Hi Kathy,

I cannot wait until next Thursday when we fly to England and I can get to see both grandsons for a couple of weeks. Once a year seeing them is not enough but the expense prohibits more than that unless we moved there.

After this morning's news, I am sure it is going to be a real experience at the airport flying to the UK.

Love, Maggie
