Well he is doing so well that the surgeon does not have to see him again
It has been suggested to him that he go for cardio-therapy inorder to get him ready to get back to the gym----and he is allowed to DRIVE!!!! YaHOOOO-----His recovery has amazed everyone---
Heart therapy can be done @ Nyack Hospital---
So that gives me 3 days a week to jump in my car and shop---shop and shop----
A call from Lynn was on my recorder---but she left no information--
OOOOH, Wowie, isn't that wonderful - I am happy for you Barbara. And now you don't have to listen to his back seat driving anymore - my husband can't be quiet while I drive either. Amazing how we avoid accidents when they are not in the car to give directions.....
Mr. Louie's recovery is AMAZING! Certainly part of it has to be the good nursing care he received at home. I bet he will be happy to get back behind the wheel. I hated that I couldn't drive after my neck surgery. I had to rely on others for 6 weeks if I wanted to go anywhere!
Got your message yesterday! I was so sad that I missed your call I was still at work. I don't get home til after 3:00 which is 6:00 pm your time. My 14 year old listened to your message over and over. She loves your NY accent!
Hugs,
Lori

Great news - you're one heck of a nurse! Gotta give you some of the credit here!
I understand the backseat driving too! Geesh - I'm a perfect (well almost) driver without Larry in the car - when he's in it - I can't do anything right and when he's not saying something he's making these funny noises or faces or grabbing the door handle! me up!
Take care Barb and RELAX now - that's G-R-E-A-T about Louie!
"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful." -- Buddha
Wow.. I thought I was the ONLY one with a "backseat" driver for a hubby..
I'm with you Mars - I'm a GREAT driver but when he's in the car I can't help but be so nervous that I screw up every chance I get. But otherwise, never had ONE single speeding ticket, never had ONE single accident that was MY fault (buncha people rear-ended ME, but hey, at least I was "aware" enuf to hold the brake so I wouldn't rear-end the person in front of ME!!!), I just don't get it.. he's got all sorts of tickets and a few accidents ( who knows whose fault it was..).
Course, lately I don't drive much at all.. Seems the clutch bothers my left hip, and the shifter bothers my right elbow... or that's MY theory anyway.. not to mention the stomach and back pain.
Anyway, Barbs, so happy to hear Louie is on his way to back to normal! :) Except BETTER than normal, cuz now he's a few blockages shorter! Hopefully he never forgets just how *lucky* he is to have come out so healthy!!!!
Boy U gals are right on target------I laughed so hard @ all your remarks--
When Louie sits as I drive we have the worse *UFFS*
He is the worse back seat driver I ever did hear----drives me nuts---U see everybody HAS to drive as he does----DUH
That is wonderful, about Mr. Louie!! Sooo glad he is doing that well!!
