Castille soap

Hi Friends,

I have been looking into making my own dish soap. I feel so...Little House on the Prairie.....so not me. The recipes that I have come up with call for castile soap and I am not sure where this comes from or what's in it. There are just too many chemicals in the regular dishsoaps for me to figure out what they really are. Does anyone happen to know what is in castile soap?

I cant answer U that Question Cristi----but I do know that Castile is a waaaaaaaaaay old time soap!!!!!

Hi Cristi,

I've been using Kirk's Castile Soap for as long as I can remember, (the original bar soap). It's based on coconut oil, rather than animal by-products, and it's free of all the aggravating additives found in other soaps. I find it locally at various grocery stores.
