I'm still here...

Post by Maureen »

I'm sorry for not posting in a while. I'm still battling migraines 2-3 times per week.
just started back to work on Mon. kids started today. I am wiped out! reading comp. screens, books, or the least bit of stress gives me an awful headache.
I went overboard on dairy yesterday and my insides are all jumbled up.

I hope everyone is doing ok
sorry to sound so depressing but I think I am a little depressed....

smiley-less,

So sorry to hear you are still suffering with those darn migraines. Maybe it's seasonal? Or maybe hormonal? Sure hope you get some relief soon. Hope the kids will enjoy being back at school.

Hi Mo,

Did you happen to notice this news item about histamines and migraines?

Hope you're feeling better soon,

Hi Mo,

Well, I am certainly glad to hear you are still here!!! Now if we could just scare off those headaches, that would be great.

I have a feeling that whatever is causing the headaches is also causing the migraines, don't you?

And then, it's depressing to feel bad like that all the time. WOW, is it depressing!

Last time I remember, you were taken off all your meds, in an attempt to get you in a better place with the migraines. Did ANYTHING get better after all that effort on your part? Have you been having these that often every week since then?

I wonder if perhaps there's not something about this season that's sort of like April when there's supposedly lots more depression in the population. Maybe this is sort of a milder version of April, but it doesn't seem like it when you're in the midst of depression, that's for sure.

I have noticed, just in the last few days lately, that I'm more sensitive to things that people say, for some reason. Normally, I would just say, "ok," and not think another thing of it. Now I worry about it for a while before forgetting about it, and feel a bit jittery, if that makes any sense.

Anyway, I hope the migraines will pass soon. They certainly can keep you from doing lots of things that need doing around this time of year.

Nice to see you posting again!
Yours, Luce

Thanks! I started taking 10mg. of Lexapro 2 months ago, but I'm not really noticing a big difference.

I seemed to have gotten rid of the daily migraines and I am able to go longer between needing to take my prescription.

Thanks Wayne for the info.

I hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend!

Love,
Mo

Hi Mo

Post by Momster »

Nice to see you here. I'm so sorry you are still fighting those migraines.
Nasty, nasty. ((((((((((((MO))))))))))). I was happy to hear that things have improved some and the daily headaches have abated.

I've been absent a lot lately, also. Just very busy and a few holidays in between. We're going to Whistler, BC on Sunday and will stay for 5 days, so looking forward to that.

It's a very pretty place and I hope to remember to take my camera with me this time to take some pictures. I'll check in again when I get back.

Take care and you have a nice labour day weekend also.

Love - Momster
Do something nice for you today
