Hi Oma,
I'm glad you're getting some rain. We've had rain in the forcast for days, now, and so far, not a drop has fallen around here. That system will probably move through here later today or tonight, but I'll be surprised if it actually rains. Maybe if we're lucky, it will rain enough to settle the dust for a day or so.
Barbara,
I hope that Lou manages to actually stop that leak, but my theory is that some leaks simply cannot be stopped, and they are here just to torment us.
Luve,
Tex

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

I hope the leak gets stopped too. But I think Tex may be right. We still have rain and it 3:53 pm here. Been raining off and on since 4:30am. It'll stop for 20 min or so then start up again. The dirt road out front is a real mess......Glad we changed tires (still slick, but not as bad as before) Out here you just get used to slick roads whenit rains. But if we get stuck in the morning we have another truck to pull us out.
Have a great Sunday all Love Oma

We have had a little rain here also over the last couple of days but not enough, I fear, to stave off further restrictions on water use. Just have to keep our fingers crossed that we get a bit more. At least our tank has gotten a bit of a refill. Fruit trees got a nice drink from mt bath water yesterday. I usually shower instead of filling the bath because it takes a fair bit of water to fill. Thought that I would put my aching body into a nice warm bath for a change.
