Well, I had a weird experience this morning. I was cleaning up around the driveway for Erin's party, which included mowing a small section of lawn with our push mower. It vibrates really bad and does bother my hands. But after I moweed, I came in for a drink and a little computer time. Geoff got home from running errands several minutes later, and my had had swollen up really badly. I couldn't even turn my engagement ring. Its gone down for the most part...The back of my hand is stitll a little puffy, but I was able to get my ring off. I have had full use of it, it didn't hurt, and it didn't change color or go numb.
Have any of you had vibrations set off swelling like that?

I've had vibrations from lawn mowers cause my hands to become numb, but that was while I was still having malabsorption problems, so it may have been related to a chemical imbalance. I never noticed any significant swelling, though.
