Made it through the Weekend
But, despite avoiding cake twice, and taking my own spaghetti to Geoff's brother's b-day dinner (and not eating the garlic bread), I've got a wonderful stomach ache going today, and anxiety type symptoms. Off and on all day. One minute I feel fine, then BAMM..feel like crap. Is there a gluten withdrawal? We may have a virus going around the house too because Geoff went to bed early last night saying he didn't feel right, and the girls both have colds.

Katy,
Congrats on side-stepping the cake and stuff. You're gettin' better and better at that.
There may be such a thing as gluten withdrawal, because it's a fact that our bodies tend to crave the things that we are intolerant of. From your description of the situation, it sure sounds as though a virus may be trying to gain the upper hand. Hopefully, you'll be able to keep it at bay.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
