OK, if you're going to take measurments on that shirt and logo, you have to base them on real world values, since they are not displayed life size. On my screen the shoulder to belly button measurment is approximately two and a half inches. I measure, (myself), slightly over 18 inches from shoulder to belly button.

Taking a relative measuement of the logo on that shirt, (complete with the words), and converting them to real world results, that logo actually measures almost two and three-quarter inches wide, by slightly over one and three-quarter inches high. It's larger than it would have to be, in order to be easily recognized.

If you don't want an in-your-face type of logo, we could size it down to somewhere around three-quarters of an inch to an inch, and it would still be recognizable at short distances, (say 6 to maybe 10 feet). At the two and a half inch size, it should be recognizable at 15 or 20 feet, (more or less).

I agree with Marsha, that maybe we should have a more subtle option available for those who want a T shirt that connects with the disease, but who don't want to wear a shirt that displays a bathroom scene. Each alternative will require a setup fee, and an art fee, and a minimum order size, of course.

Tex

Okay, I finally got a response. The shirt sizes are unisex.

Hi Joanna,

I plan to place an order today, so I'll know the cost later. The reason I don't know the cost now, is because I still havn't decided how many to order. Also, since there is so much disagreement on the proper size of the logo, I may end up ordering two different sizes, which will require two different setup fees.

Some want a logo size of an inch or less, and others want about a two and a half inch logo, so I may have to buy about 25 of each size, in order to meet the minimum order limits, and to suit various tastes in logo size preferences.

I believe what I'll do, is order shirts with a logo size of somewhere in the three-quarters of an inch to an inch range, and see how that goes over. After trying those, if we decide that a larger logo would be more appealing, we can change it on the next printing, (if there's enough demand to justify another printing). Hopefully, this will be a reasonable compromise. I'm afraid that if I order 25 shirts with the large logo, I'll be stuck with about 20 of them.

Love,
Tex

Don't blame you a bit Tex. I'd be fine with it about 1 1/2 inches but you know better than us about the general opinions.

I also don't think you need to be "stuck" with the cost of any of the shirts. If you spread it all around it shouldn't be that much.

Our Flower Pot fund is in really really good shape. If everyone agrees (and I'm sure they will) we could reimburse Wayne from that so he wouldn't be "stuck" with any costs at all....we have over $200 U.S. in the fund.

Just a thought...

Hi Wayne,

I'm good with whatever size logo the others want. I'd love one in a size small.

Peg,
I vote that the F.P. fund would be a great place to "borrow" some funds for the T's. I'll be happy to send you some more to go in the F.P. fund.
