We Have A Problem With The T Shirts! :hammerhead:
When I tried to place an order, I hit a snag. It turns out that small logos work fine, for a one-color print job. With two or more colors, though, (ours has three colors, plus the toilet will be the background color of the shirt), due to the problem of trying to align something as flexible as cloth, for the second and/or third printing processes, a small, multicolored logo wouldn't be legible.
According to the guy who does the actual printing at this place, the minimum practical size for a three-color logo seems to be about two and a half inches.
Now, if we try to do a one-color logo, the floor of the "bathroom" will be indistinguishable from the wall, and the human "stick' figure would have to be the same color as the toilet, (the background shirt color). IOW, it would look something like the images below, which are significantly different from our original logo, but something like this is doable in a smaller size.
I left off the TP holder in the first one, but I think it needs to be included. Obviously, we can make the background anycolor we want, or we could just print the three main items in the logo on whatever background color the shirt happens to be. Like this:
I didn't take the time to clean up the art work on this one, but you get the idea.
Incidentallly, the turnaround time on a print job such as this is about two weeks, (possibly less). Your thoughts? Comments?
I've got to go to a wedding rehearsal, so I'll be back to check for responses in a couple of hours or so.
Love,
Tex

Oh my Gosh!! Talk about choices!! Tex, you should have just picked your favorite and run with it!!!
If you are asking, I like everything except the golds, oranges, yellows and tans.
The first two pics above look the best to me also.
Love, Shirley

Shirley,
Note that we don't have to use those designs, unless we want to use "tiny" logos. The original design will work just fine at two and a half inches.

Tex,
Hat's off to you for undertaking this endeavor! Is it driving you crazy yet? I have no preferences whatsoever as far as colors or logos.
Just curious, in the post before Shirleys you must mentioned ALOT of color choices as options. We have to agree as a group on one color choice don't we or is the T-shirt maker willing to make 5 red, 7 yellow, 4 green, 8 blue and so on?
Pegster mentioned the flower pot fund and I agree it sould be sent to you to cover the costs of the T-shirts and mailing- not to mention your time.
Love,
Joanna

Mrs. Columbo,
Hahahahaha. I'll see if they can come up with that combination. LOL.
Joanna,
If I understand them correctly, we can order any mix of colors and sizes. The key is that the logo has to be the same on all of them, unless we want to pay an additional setup charge, and meet another minimum order size for each setup. Therefore, if we can settle on a single background color for the logo, (black, blue, or whatever), then, with that color in mind, if anyone wants to order a shirt color other than white, I can do that, so long as anyone wanting a special color lets me know the color and size, before I place the order. Bear in mind that the figures in the logo, (toilet, pottyperson, etc.), will be the same color as the shirt.
I think we should leave the flower fund out of this. Heck, before this is over, I might suffer a nervous breakdown or something, and need brain surgery, and I would hate to think that I couldn't get any flowers, because the fund was squandered on T shirts. LOL.
