Happy Halloween!

Post by CAMary »

The kids have been anxiously awaiting today for several weeks! Elyse & I went this am to the school parade..it was a bit chilly - but fun to see everyone all dressed up! My 10 yo went as Napoleon Dynamite, and the 8 yo was Obi Wan Kenobi. Elyse wore her Sleeping Beauty outfit, and sat in the stroller due to the crowds and her clompy dress-up shoes...

Andy's teacher is a young guy (30-ish) and his wife just had their first baby in August. He dressed as "The Man in the Yellow Hat" and had his baby in a little monkey costume - it was so cute!!

I have to chase off to the store - we're having people over for dinner & to trick-or-treat. I didn't get any candy yet since I was afraid I would eat it all  Mike made it home late Sunday night, and gave notice yesterday to his boss. He'll be home early to help the kids carve pumpkins tonight. Ahh life is back to normal

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Hi Mary....sounds like fun...hope you aren't too pooped today.
I attended a lecture at the Art Museum, so my girl from Hong Kong dressed-up as a witch and answered the door. She said she loved seeing all the little children in their costumes. I built a fire in the fireplace and carved a pumpkin for the mantel. My International student had never seen a Jack-o-lantern before...it was very fun! TTFN...JJ
