Me Too
Hi All:
Peggy's in Whistler and we're going to Birch Bay,WA for three days - leaving this afternoon. It's stormy here, but we'll have fun hunkering down in front of the fireplace, watching DVD's, playing cards, cooking up a storm and enjoying the QUIET. No phones or people knocking on our door looking for John to fix something.
You all have a lovely weekend.

Do something nice for you today
Kathy, we didn't go zip-trekking this trip, but have done it when it first started up (and was about 1/2 the cost) many years ago. The weather wasn't really conducive to it this time around. When we did do it is was a beautiful sunny day and you could see for miles!
Which brings me to Jill, there was snow when we we arrived, but most of it washed away as it rained all weekend. I'm sure it was snowing in the highter altitudes.
Mags, it is a gorgeous little town, isn't it? Soon to be not so little due to the fact that the bulk of the 2010 winter games will be held there. There's alot of construction going on right now.
We pretty much did what Mom's doing right now. Enjoyed the 4-star room, took advantage of the cozy fireplace, and utilized the full kitchen in our room (restaurant prices are exorbitant there). I got in some great reading time, too. All in all it was a very nice relaxing two days .
Off to a very busy Monday at work.
Love
