The "FISH" Philosophy

Post by Umber »

Some of you asked about the philosophy of the fishmongers of Seattle's Pikes Peak Market that I mentioned in a previous post. I highly recommend their book "Catch". I think they have a couple of others as well. They have become world famous because of the way they do business. I wanted to share it with you!

<')))>< <')))>< <')))>< <')))><

Here is their philosophy:

PLAY:
This state of mind brings new energy and perspective to the tasks at hand and sparks creative solutions.

BE THERE:
You are fully engaged in the moment, inviting opportunities, and sharing the experience together.

CHOOSE YOUR ATTITUDE:
Attitude is your reaction to what life hands you and only you can choose it.

MAKE THEIR DAY:
If you find your energy lapsing, find someone who needs a helping hand or a word of support and reach out.

Hugs

I do my best to live by that philosophy but it isn`t easy sometimes. I work in retail and it is not the customers that get in the way of attitude....I love them...it is co-workers. I wish I knew a way around that. Hugs, Carol

Lori, I LOVE it! Thanks for sharing.

Carol, my trick for dealing with impossible people is to take a deep breath and try to figure out what they are here to teach me.........things like patience, tolerance, how to turn the other cheek, etc. LOL!

Love,

Polly

Great Philosophy.

Polly, thanks for giving me that outlook on troublesome people. I will definitely take it to heart and use it the next time I encounter one - probably won't be long from now. LOL

Love, Maggie
