Are you an Elizabeth like me???
A smile is a light in the window of your face that shows that your heart is at home
Welcome. You have my favorite name in the whole world...my daughter is Elizabeth with a Z as well. I've had LC for about a year and find great information here as well as big shoulders when I need some TLC. I'm sure you will find help here and will be feeling better.
Hi Beth,
I'm an ex-teacher, living in AZ (it's 80 today and my roses are blooming, but it's getting down to the low 50s at night now). 5 kids, 2 dogs, 5 grandkids, but I'm not as old as that makes me sound, seriously!
It's nice to get to know you,
Marsha
Well, here's a quick bio of me. I live with my wonderful husband of three and a half years just outside of Boston, where it's been rainy and somewhat of a perpetual dusk around here until the sun came out for approximately five minutes today. I'm a writer, a student completing my MFA in creative non-fiction writing, a private tutor (SAT, college essays, high school writing) and hopefully soon to be a mother this coming summer. (We'll be trying to conceive when I've finished the MFA.) That's a somewhat brief but I suppose succinct picture of my life right now. Oh - and I'm trying to get better from MC - but you all knew that, right?
Anyway, so nice to be here where people know so much and we can share what works in this mess of an illness.
Hi Beth! Wow, you have your hands full! I have an MFA in Studio Art...Grad School was a lot of work and....pressure...that can't be helping your MC. My CC gets worse when I'm under svere pressure....I am just now getting better from a major flare that started last March. (It was directly related to work). I take Entocort and it has been a blessing. I am still teaching and I can't be running to the loo. It is so nice to have you here in the group...TTFN...JJ
I'm happy to meet you, but not happy that you have to be here.
I have been gone all summer and some of the fall, so I have not been on the board for awhile.
This is a very wonderful group of people. I have never seen people in my real life like the people here.
I hope you will be happy here!!!

Jaco, a parrot in Salzburg, could not only speak but seemed to understand grammar. Whenever his person left, Jaco would say "God be with you." But when several people were departing, Jaco would change it to "God be with all of you."
