Post by annie oakley »

Mike went to Houston In a hurry for a Hurry up Electrical Job today, suppose to be home tomorrow night. I am off tomorrow and will be doing laundry, walmart for a few things then home to cook some more. Cooking makes me feel better sometimes. Good night all and sweet dreams.

Hi Oma,

Yep, you're right - we have high wind in the forecast for tomorrow. About a month ago, when we were getting some good rains, I thought maybe the weather pattern had changed, but now we seem to be right back in the old familiar drought pattern of lots of wind, and no rain.

Love,
Tex

Yeah, I wish we could send you some rain as well. We've had our share this year for sure. At this point I'd be happier if it would get cold enough and turn to snow. But its been unseasonably warm this week, in the 50s.

The winds are so strong here that they blew mikes metal wood rack he was just finishing off the work table. Also the wind blew piece of steele off the table all over in front of the barn door. There's branches down and anything not nailed down is now somwhere else. I can see a cleanup job when Mike gets home. Send all that rain ya'll don't want out to West and Central Texas Please. The winds were in the 35 to 40 mph category here most of the day, with 50 mph gusts at times. There was a lot of West Texas dust in the air when it got here, and as it passed through, it picked up a lot of our dust too, and took it along. Working outdoors was not a pleasant way to pass the time, today.

Love,
