Feeling better??

Post by Mars »

Hi everyone,

I'm feeling somewhat better today. Came home from work yesterday (early) and hit the couch.

Today, the cough is productive and hopefully that means I'm on the mend. My voice still isn't normal and I don't have much energy but I guess that goes with the territory.

My goal is to watch the OSU = Michigan (GO OSU) game today (on the couch) and football tomorrow - (GO BROWNS) and recoup as much as possible.

I have a few errands to run today but they will take less than an hour. I need to be better for next week. I need to go to the grocery on Monday evening and begin my cooking Wednesday night.

Thanks for asking about me everyone! I'm on my way..............where to..........

Love,
Mars

Hi Mars,

Glad you are feeling better. Our household has been crazy in anticipation of this game today. My FIL played football for Ohio State and my husband started going to all the games when he was a toddler. The grown man still gets butterflies on game day. LOL. Take it easy. Go Bucks.

Love,
Cristi

Well, this is good news!

You mentioned awhile ago you were considering taking Vitamin C, have you have done that? It's not bad stuff, and it would be interesting to see if it would help boost your immune system and help you ward off all these nasty virus's that seem to be so attracted to you. Just a thought.
Vitamin C Beats Bird Flu and Other Viruses, Too

(OMNS) High dose vitamin C is a remarkably safe and effective treatment for viral infections. [1,2] In high doses, vitamin C neutralizes free radicals, helps kill viruses, and strengthens the body's immune system. Taking supplemental vitamin C routinely helps prevent viral infections.

Glad to hear your feeling better- be sure to rest up this weekend. Enjoy the game girls.

Mars,

It's good to see that you're feeling better.

Joanna,

That's an interesting article on vitamin C. Thanks for posting that. According to the article, it would be almost impossible to overdose on it, unless it's being taken intraveniously.

Morning Mars,

I do hope you are feeling much better and so far as the big Turkey Day, try to take it easy and don't get yourself run down making things spectacular for everyone else. You need to take care of yourself.

Love, Maggie
