Hi Polly...I may have spelled it incorrectly, but it's German sweet and sour red cabbage. You saute bacon and onion and add diced apple...add to chopped red cabbage and steam. Add brown sugar, salt, pepper and cider vinegar to taste. It's my grandma's recipe...I make it for all our family dinners...yum!
