Hi Liz, thank you for the nice compliment. I love photographing flowers more than any other subject, although at one time, I did think of opening a studio for portraiturature. How I wish all those flowers and probably 500 more I have were in my garden. I just walk around the neighborhood and if I see something interesting and the owners are not outside I just go to their door and ask if they mind if I take some pictures. Most are flattered and say fine. I have even taken prints back to some of them.
I shot the photos of the Cyclamens in a doctors office complex and a lot in my SILs yard. She goes crazy with flowes every year. No planning....she just places them anywhere there is an empty spot. It all looks prety messy to me but individually I get a lot of good shots.
At the local Cancer Treatment Center here they have a very serene garden in a back courtyard and I have gotten a lot of good shots there. As a matter of fact, the Daisies came from there.
I have even had my husband stop the car when I see something interesting alongside the road. I have some nice ones of wild Sweet Peas I got that way. Haven`t posted them yet.
Well, I am sure I have told you much more than you really wated to know but from hearing what a nice lady you are, I feel sure you`ll forgive me. LOL. Love, Carol

Well, you didn't say more than I wanted to know and I'm sure Liz will feel the same. I'm glad she asked the question because I was wondering myself. I think it's pretty neat that you can enjoy all the flowers so much with minimal effort. LOL

Thanks Carol. You certainly are very a talented photographer. You obviously love it & I know if you wanted to photograph anything in my garden you would be very welcome. I would be flattered. Although mine is looking a bit worse for wear at the moment because with the drought & watering restrictions we can't really water it properly. Some people have bores & can use that on their gardens but we are too close to the sea & it has too much salt. We have a tank but are conserving that for household use. Keep putting them up, they are beautiful.
