Liz...you are a vary talented woman. I have only seen one other that could come close to you in quilt making and she would only make them for family. All of yours are absolutely beautiful! You are a true artist. Love, Carol

Hello Carol
Well thank you. I really love doing this sort of thing, anything crafty, in fact. Like your friend I only do it for the people I love, family, friends & to raise money for the Smith family through my VIEW Club. I have always been interested in doing things with my hands & I can never just sit. I usually either knit, crochet, cross stitch, candlewick or hand sew while I am watching TV or travelling. Maybe I am hyperactive or something. My house is clean but usually in a happy state of organised chaos.

I have lots of pics of things that I have made, including cakes. I am thinking of putting some more pics up if they won't take up too much room on the board.

Love

Liz

Liz,

Since I set this up so that we're using image hosting services for the actual image file storage, they take up very little room in the database of the discussion board, so post pictures to your heart's content.

As the others have already pointed out, your pictures show some very beautiful art work, and it's a privilege and a pleasure to be able to see it.

Love,
Tex

Hi Joanna & Tex

Thank you for the complements. I certainly will put some more pics up. I really love doing this sort of thing. I don't think threre are too many crafts that I have not tried but quilting is my main interest for the moment. It is a sort of addiction. Only trouble is I am going to have to live 'til I am about 350 years old to do all the stuff that I want to do, and indeed use even a fraction of the patterns that I have. Thing is, I approach my craft in the same way that I do cooking. Look at a recipe to get an idea & then do my own thing, more or less fly by the seat of my pants.

Love

Liz

That's exactly what makes you such an outstanding artist.

As I was paging down, looking at your quilts as I went....It occurred to me that it's like looking at a garden. So beautiful.
