Hi Liz and Tessa,

I'm not sure if those APO, (Air/Army Post Office), and FPO, (Fleet Post Office), addresses are totally self-sufficient, or not, and I can't find any information on mailing to APO and FPO addresses from other countries, (other than the U. S.), on the USPS website. I'm not sure where all those APO and FPO post offices are located, but presumably they are all on U. S. military bases.

I have a hunch that the address that Carol listed will be sufficient from anywhere in the world, (IOW, I think it amounts to an international address), but I'm not sure. The best solution would probably be to ask your local postal service if anything has to be added in order to get it out of your own country, and headed in the right direction. In fact, there may even be U. S. military bases in your country, in which case your postal service would route the mail to them, and they would distribute it to the correct address. Anyway, a phone call to your local postal service should resolve the question.

Love,
Tex

Tessa,

I asked the postmaster at my local post office, and he insisted that an APO or FPO address should work when mailed from anywhere in the world. IOW, it is an international address.

I hope he's right - his advice has always been correct in the past.

Love,
Tex
