Hi Mrs. Columbo,

I don't think this is the problem there, but about 10 or 15 years ago, in a small town about 5 miles away from us, a postmaster retired after many, many years of service. The new postmaster found a back room with boxes full of undelivered mail stacked all over the place. Most of it was junk mail, but some of it was just mail that he never got around to processing.

The same thing happened in another small town about 5 miles down the road from there, about 15 or 20 years earlier, when the long-time postmaster there was forced to resign, because someone complained about something, and an investigation found oodles of old, undelivered mail. (Believe it or not).

Luve,
Galahad

P S Someone at your post office may have given someone the wrong package - I hope not. It's probably just temporarily misplaced.

Barbara I hope you find that package! Maybe there's another postmaster that's retiring in AZ that's coveted your package and has it held hostage...Ha Ha I am being funny, I really hope you find it.
