MIs beware of Applegate Farms sausage

Post by m »

I've had a reaction recently to Applegate Farms chicken and apple sausage. I was doing just fine until the last 2 batches. After examining the box carefully I realized that the ingredients now say they're cooked in soy oil. Rats!

Hi Melissa,

I discovered the same thing. And it was disappointing because I really liked the product. It's funny - if we are soy-intolerant we not supposed to react to soy oil because the protein fraction is supposed to be removed during the processing. But it seems that many of us still react. I am thinking about Karen (I think) who reacted to the soy lecithin in the chocolate.

Love,

Polly
