I have a GROSS Question to ask---

Post by barbaranoela »

Good Morning---

If U recall---the Vitamins I took for 2 days,to help Iron deficiency, caused me *RUNNING RAPIDS* --and killed my inners---I stopped!!
Also a bit of blood----which I though MIGHT be the discoloration of the RED Tablet!!

OK--now----moving my bowels I am having some blood----

The QUESTION is--could this VITAMIN have caused such an irritation as to still give me a discoloration when I am on the :toilet:

Appears since NORMAN is forming this is happenening????
I am not FORCING-----but neurotic me is getting nervous~~

After all having been so good for several years this has me DISCOURAGED----

And I really dont want to start with a GI---here---
Lou's cardio, back home, gave me the name of a GI in Phoenix!!

NOW---I REALLY WANNA GO HOME!!!!

 Barbara

Morning, Barbara,

I doubt that the vitamins would still be causing the problem. Usually, once the problem food is removed from the diet, any bleeding that it caused will end within 2 or 3 days. That said, once hemorrhoids become inflamed, they can be troublesome for quite a while, unless treated. If the blood is bright red, (not darker), the odds are high that "rhoids" are the problem, but, of course, there's never any guarantee, without an exam.

If you think that might be the problem, you might try to shrink them by using suppositories for a few days, (you will probably see results in a day or so, but it usually takes a week or two of treatment, to resolve the problem, so that it doesn't immediately reccur), and if that doesn't do the job, an exam is probably in order.

I've been through that before, so I know what you mean about being nervous. In fact, at one point, a doctor told me that I would have to have surgery to correct the problem, or they would bother me for the rest of my life. I used suppositories for a couple of weeks, changed my diet to include a little more fiber, and never had another problem, (except when the MC was flaring, of course). That was 17 years ago, and I'm glad that I didn't agree to the surgery that he insisted I needed.

It's always something, isn't it. (Sigh).

Luve,
Galahad

P S Are you getting enough fiber in your diet?

I agree with Wayne Barb, but if you are at all worried go & get it checked out. At least it will put your mind at rest.

Yup, agree with Tex!

Hopefully, (although not fun) hemorrhoids are the hopeful culprit and nothing more serious. Could be that since the stools have become formed, they are irritating you as they make their appearance! :???:

Hi Barbara,

I used to have problems with hemorrhoids and used over the counter creams and it would take a couple of weeks to get better. I went to my doctor and he prescribed Analpram HC for me . It's a hydrocortisone 1% cream. It did amazing things for me....I would only have to use it twice and the problem would be gone. It worked really well for me. Good luck and I hope you are feeling better soon.

Love,

I've had some blood before also. Bright red. It was roids.

Everything else has been said already.

Thanks all *roid* friends---

I know I have them-----cus certain times U can surely feel them--popped and waiting to be popped back--

I was like :yikes: could a Vitamin do this to my little bottom!!

And I gather it did---but also had that *rocking and rolling* from side to side and that was a favorite of years ago when I had RUNNING RAPIDS-

So I kinda worked myself up--drove Mr. Louie crazy--(which was OK)

Today so far---I am OK---but in a rotten mood cus it brought back memories of being *un-controlled* and being a *tenant* in the bathroom~~

Thanks again---who else could I ask but our *home*---where everyone has an opinion----and opinions are so appreciated--
