update from Doctor today

update from Doctor today

Howdy! Well the doctor says I am depressed and we are going to work on some meds there. He Verified as far as he could that my colitis is in remission without meds. He put me thru alot of tests and questions. I like him alot. He gave me my pain meds and verified that I have RA and Osteo (read My Xrays) He is referring me to a good GI,Heart, and Bone Doctor. Scheduled me for a whole bunch of tests over the next three months. Sooooooo, My family...there is hope as he says and we will find the way. He is very caring and is very open to what we talk about on this boar. He was impressed that My diet has helped to put me into remission. ANd beleives that there needs to be more open communication between patients and Doctors. He is not one of these doctors that waves any theory but his own away, Sooooo I feel better tonight. WIll Pick up RX's tomorrow night after work. I have three moles that will need to be looked at by a Skin doctor.. He konws my previous Bone doc and is referring me back to him for any bone issues. He also Knows my surgeon too. ANyway I must go and find some supper, Mike forgot to refill propane and we are out. He will be Boiling his own wash water tonight as will I. So supper may a sandwich but that's ok. Love to all Oma

You are on the right path now. Just remember it takes time for the meds to kick in and to find the right dose. I know you know that, but don't get discouraged and keep your doc informed of how you are doing.

I feel confident that between Doctor Morton and I we will find the right way to go....and I do understand that we may have to try other things before we get it right, but I feel like he cares and will try to help, especially where he listens about Colitis. :doctor: He said I was in good healt and we could work on the Arthristis issue and is willing to work with me on all issues. You are lucky to find such a caring doctor who LISTENS! Hope you get some relief soon.. RA can be quite painful.
