The new "Doctor" forum

Post by tex »

Hi moderators and admins,

As you can see, I added a forum for doctors found to be "MC-friendly". I'm not sure that I worded the name and/or description optimally, so if you have any comments, criticisms, suggestions, or revisions in mind, please feel free to speak up, (or, in the case of admins, feel free to edit it, as you see fit).

Thanks,
Tex

I just went to look at the new "room" and I couldn't help but chuckle. It makes quite a statement just being there............empty.

Hi Shirley,

LOL. I didn't think of it that way, but you're right, it does say a lot already about the help available to us from the medical profession, doesn't it. I have a hunch that you're right - it will probably always be a very short list.

I guess I'd better correct my typo in the subject line of this topic. Some folks may not know what a "dorcor" is. LOL.

Love,
Tex

 I did read that but promptly forgot about it. Seems like I have a "talent" for doing that lately..........."promptly forgetting".

HAHAHAHAHA, Mars Bar! But thanks for the vote of confidence!

Yep, I'll bet it stays mostly empty, unfortunately. With a dearth of MC-knowledgeable docs, we are SOOOOO lucky to have all of us here - the living, breathing, survivors of MC, who truly DO have the answers. Did you notice that Cristi, who had a very positive experience with a doc at the Mayo Clinic, still claimed that she learned more about treating her MC here from us?

Love,

Polly
