I'm Mailing Some Shirts Tomorrow, So It Won't Be Long :mail:
Hi All,
The following shirt orders will go out tomorrow, (Monday, December 11th):
Barbaranoela
Grannyh
JJ
MaggieRedwings
Oma
Polly
starfire
According to my records, the only ones left to be shipped are:
Christi
Joanna
Peggy
I should have asked Christi about her address before she left to visit the Mayo Clinic.
Joanna, do you still want one each, small, medium, and large. Which logo do you prefer? I'd rather you made the selection. Do you still want those additional shirts to be shipped to MN, and FL?
If I have missed someone, or if anyone else has decided that you would like to have one of these shirts, please let me know.
Love,
Tex

Hi Tex,
Yes, I would like a small, med and large with the larger logo.
I've decided it's probably best to order the additional shirts later, after I see how the sizing is running with them once we get ours. That way too, you can ship them all to me and I can package them from here. Thank you for your offer to do that though. Your so gracious.
Looking forward to getting that package from Texas!

Joanna,
There shouldn't be any problem with sizes. Only 14 shirts total have been ordered, (including your 3) - that leaves 36 still available, (20 with the smaller logo, and 16 with the larger logo).
I may have to send yours in two packages - it's pretty tough to stuff 3 shirts into one of those flat-rate envelopes. I'll see, though, it may be cheaper to just put them in a larger envelope or box and use the standard priority rates to Alaska.
Thanks.
Love,
Tex

Tex,
Whatever is most convienent for you works for me, just let me know what the shipping costs are. Sending priority rather than snail mail works best for Alaska-which remind me of a shipping horror story...
A few years ago right around this time of year I ordered $400 worth of fresh mistletoe from a company in Texas. I paid for Fed-Ex next day and was very, very specific about not sending it ground. Well, they sent it ground and it arrived 11 days later, beat up and frozen. They had packed in only in a huge cardboard- no insulation whatsoever. This was a fresh product for peat sakes heading to Alaska in December.
So, not only did I end up with no product for that season and missed my window to fill orders I never did manage to get a refund from these folks.
It's a very long story but the bottom line for me was be very careful who you do business with over the internet and pay close attention to how it's being shipped.
At least, the T- Shirts arn't perishable!!
Thanks so much!
Love,
Joanna

Joanna,
Wow! After reading your horror story, all I can say is, "you mean people will pay good money for mistletoe?" How many truck loads was that? Sounds like I need to look into that business.
Seriously, it sounds like you were either dealing with idiots, or crooks. I'd be uneasy about shipping a box of perishable items just across Texas by ground service, in December, let alone to Alaska.
I apologize on behalf of the residents of the state of Texas, for the shoddy treatment you received.
Love,
Tex

Yep, that would be me. The $400 worth of fresh mistletoe is like gold here during the holidays. Nobody else brings it in and really uses it like I have and it makes me alot of $, plus it's fun. Nothing like kissing under fresh mistletoe, kind of a martha stewart thing."you mean people will pay good money for mistletoe?"
Thank you but no need. There are bad eggs in every state but you, Oma and Luce are so great that I really had forgoten about this deal with them. It just really threw me for a loop though and I lost alot of $ but worse was that I could not provide the product to my customers that I had promised. Kissing balls at a new years party are very important to Alaskans. Funny huh?I apologize on behalf of the residents of the state of Texas, for the shoddy treatment you received.
I just recieved an e-mail from them reminding me to order mistletoe a few days ago. Have not heard from them in years, so they must have forgoten about me and had my e- mail address buried somewhere.
If I was in Texas right now I'd be harvesting mistletoe and marketing it to the northern states at a fair price.
Love,
Joanna
