Bushfires are raging through several states down here & it looks like it is going to be a pretty scary summer.

Here in Queensland we have had a few smaller fires but not on the scale that they have in Tasmania & Victoria at the moment.
A couple of pea - brained 16 yearolds lit a fire in bush at the back of houses here on Wednesday which was able to be put out. Unfortunately this is how some of these fires start. Lightening causes some but sometimes they are deliberatelt lit by brainless firebugs.
The winds got up to 120 klm per hour during the fires in Tasmania yesterday. The fire actually feeds the wind & vice versa. Frightening.
Worry a bit about Susie's place because they are in area surrounded by bush & they have thousands of native trees on their property. The eucalypts are especially a problem because they explode in a fire & shoot off fire & embers to set fire to other areas.
