Checking In!!!

Post by TendrTummy »

Hi all!!! long time no chat! Just wanted to stop by and make an announcement! Remember how we were trying to add to our family?? Well mission accomplished.... I'm due May 21 2007.

We had an ultrasound at 15 weeks and they told me that preliminarily it's a boy.. we'll see if we can confirm that. Frankly I was sort of hoping for a girl because we have 2 boys at home and I need a little estrogen!!!

Here are ultrasound pics:
http://public.fotki.com/tneutgens/family/baby/

Anyway - I'm doing well with the pregnancy and am actually able to tolerate dairy now!!! woo hoo!!! I've read that pregnancy suppresses the immune system, so that may be a factor, but soy and egg still give me quite the reaction. Gluten, I'm NOT going there. LOL

Otherwise, kids are doing well, hubby is well, and it's finally snowing today up here in Minnesota. Usually we have snow by Halloween but it's been very mild up until now! I'm glad we'll have a "white Christmas" though :)

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays and all of that! We have another ultrasound Dec 28th and I'll check in after to confirm the sex.. fingers crossed for a girl!!!! lol (I'll be happy with either but c'mon, too much testosterone! even the DOG is male!)

Congratulations, Christine,

So the :stork-baby: is on the way. How about that?

Thanks for the update - it's good to hear that you're doing so well.

Congratulation Christine!!!!!!!!!!

You are so lucky and will keep my fingers crossed for a girl but a baby healthy is just fine male or female.

Enjoy the holidays - you have an extra special present there.

Love, Maggie

Hi again, thanks all :) Yep a healthy baby is all I want but GEEZ we have a lot of testosterone in our house LOL.

The boys are very excited.. Jacob (8) is always thinking up names for "our baby" LOL. He always wants to use his friends' names LOL, very cute. Otherwise they both can't wait to help me out with baby duties, so that's a good thing!

I really should check in more often LOL. Seems like we go through busy spells and dry spells here at work. When we have dry spells I venture back to places like this, but I feel horrible for not having posted in so long! lol

Well, I'll try to drop in more often (but I keep saying that!). Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays to all of you :)
