Aurora Borealis

I've been fortunate to see some spectacular displays of northern lights here in Alaska.

During the winter months & active phases, we will often check the sky before heading bed to see if there is any action that looks promising and over the years have lost many hours of sleep in the awesome trance of the borealis.

I've had no luck capturing their beauty with a camera so can't take credit for these photos.

Awesome huh?
