Shirley - received card
Hello Shirley. Received your Xmas card yesterday. Lovely, thank you.
You had more than enough postage, by the way, probably nearly twice as much as you needed going by that on other cards that I received. Hope you had a great Xmas & all the best wishes for a wonderful year in 2007. Don't know where 2006 went. The older you get, the faster the time goes I reckon.
You would not believe it but the Xmas decs are still up & one of the stores is advertising Hot Cross Buns. Once upon a time, back in the olden days, they used to be on sale just before Easter. Oh well, that commercialism for you.

Sorry it was so late, Liz. I had absolutely NO idea how much postage would be needed so I just tried to put on plenty. I don't even remember how many stamps I stuck on.
I really hate the way they "rush" holidays/seasons anymore. They seem to get earlier every year for everything.
Anyway, Have a great year.........
Love, Shirley

I agree Shirley, It is all so rushed now days. Really Xmas did not creep up on me this year, it cannonballed in a a zillion miles an hour & caught me completely by surprise. the fact that I was so busy with helping Susie & Gilles with their new venture may have had something to do with it. I just could not get the feeling this year. Think I was just plain tuckered out as my Doctor thinks. Will try to be better prepared for it this year.

Shirley, Here's a link for postage.

Of course it didn't do me much good since my card to Liz stuck to my card to Tessa and they went to Spain together!
