Alaskans in my area just got a BIG SNOWJOB!

Those that could, including myself chose to stay home, hunker down and tend the fire which was a good call since it continued throughout the day into late evening.

These photos were taken by a photograher for the Anchorage Daily News

The kids are on holiday break from school so it will be a fun day to play in the fresh snow. Too bad the temps have dropped to single digets...

:grin: These pics are really something!!! I admit that I was wishing to see some snow sitting down here in (too warm) Florida, but I think those pictures may have cured me. :grin: That is SOME snowman!!!

Shirley,

I thought I'd post these photos for all you lucky snowbirds that are wintering in the tropics, and others living without the white stuff.

It's really beautiful out, but very cold.
