Really, Really sorry to read that you are in another flare. Just wanted you to know that I'm thinking of you and hoping it will soon be over.

Have you returned to Entocort, or are you thinking about it?

Hey buds,

I've been 100% about taking the Asacol, and tried the Entocort for short-term but it didn't work, then I ran out. I just got another prescription from the doc and will try the Entocort again. This flare's been going on for quite a while now and I just can't get it together (pardon the pun!).

At least if I go down to Mexico with it I can just say it's Montezuma's revenge and no-one will be the wiser

:flush:

Hi Peg,

Unstoppable only when it comes to the toilet young lady. Do hope you feel better and when it comes to flares, I cannot get past the mornings any more. They are absolutely dreadful. We both can only go up from here.

Love, Maggie

Awwwww, Peg.

Am waving my magic wand for a quick end to the flare. Hang in there.

Hi Peg,

Whatever you do, please, please, please take enough Entocort so that it can establish remission - you can always taper the dosage down, afterwards.

Love,
Tex

Hi Peg!
Hope you are finding some relief.
I agree with Wayne.. Give yourself at least a month on the Entocort, at the 3-3mgs in the morning, or longer if you don't see an improvement.
I had the same experience with the Asacol. It was working fine for a while and then I started having major D, only to find out that the dairy in it was causing my continuous D. Presently, I am controlling symptoms with taking only 1 Entocort in the morning.
Keep us posted on how you are doing..

Love

Dee~~~~~~
