I've been kinda slack posting because I crashed my home 'puter but good (non-repairable, beyond hope, ka-put)!
I ordered a new one and should be all set up again soon. It's hard working full-time and trying to catch up on all the weekend posts and follow the current ones.
What's the flavor of the new puter? Our 2nd puter was my favorite a Sony but they are spendy. Our last two have been Dell, I have been happy with them and we always get the extended service contract. You have to go thru India before you can get someone out to your house tho! Yep, imagine that they have a call center in India!

You must of crashed it pretty good huh? I hear you are savy at fixing those things and sure you did about everything you could. Bummer, sorry about that.
Curious too, what flavor are you getting? The good news is the prices are going DOWN on them. I think I spent almost $3000 eleven years ago for my first complete system. Zowie.
It would be interesting to do a poll on what kinds of puters we all have. I'd like to know how many APPLE people there are, although I don't have one. Quite a few of my friends do and they swear by them.
It SUCKS to be COMPUTERLESS. Glad you have access at work.
Yeah, and clean the house, make the beds, yadda, yadda, yadda! Come up with a computer like that and I will be first in line.....an adorable cabana boy would work too, hubba, hubba!
We need a hunk of a cabana boy emoticon!

I just bought a new computer too. It's an HP. I did consider Dell, but decided to buy it at a local large store because of their service plan.
It's got most of the bells and whistles and I'm still learning about it. It has a CD/DVD burner and John has me downloading country music for his (future) MP# player. I think I'll get him a gift certificate for his birthday next month towards getting it. He likes music when he travels.
