OOOOOOH, a golden doodle! They are beautiful dogs.....not to mention smart. And both breeds love to swim, so I hope you have a river nearby, or at least a Pet Depot with an indoor pool.
I am probably not the one to ask about names. I once had a dog named "Teaser the Crowd Pleaser Boom Boom Roberts"!

Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.
Polly,
Hahahahahaha. That's gotta be some kinda world record for dog names. LOL. Still, it definitely has a catchy rhythm to it.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
yes he is so cute! I will do my best to post pics thurs night when I get home around 8pm eastern time-
He seems to be smart at times and then a puupy at times! He rarely goes to the bathroom in his cage and we take him from the cage to outside everytime and he goes- But 20 minutes later back in the house he goes again! I think he is marking his territory
Now polly- did boom boom answer to the whole name, or parts of it? And the nearest river is about 45 miles south of us in Sedona- so we probably wont go there too much but will take a few trips there over the summer... we can spray him down with the hose... does that count?

Andrew,
I'm just guessing here, (call it a WAEG), but based on a lifetime of experience living on a farm, and surrounded by animals of various types, I'm not sure that a singled, (isolated), animal is likely to mark his/her territory, (yes, some females do it too, especially cats), especially at such a young age. I'm sure there are exceptions, but the marking routine is for the benefit of other members of his species, and is something that comes with maturity, and the awareness of the presence of other members of his species, and particularly members of his gender. In the absence of any other dogs in his "world", and especially at such a young age, I would be inclined to think that he's just nervous, and/or not yet potty trained.
I guess you could always name him Squirt, but I kinda like old-fashioned names like Buddy, Max, or Bear.

Andrew,
I'm sorry you're still feeling sick. Any better today? I just went through a 4 day bout of something (MC probably) too. Tried to pin it to food but couldn;t. Not sick enough or the "right kind" of sick for a virus but still felt really bad. And I noticed that I had several anxiety attacks during this episode. I don't know why because I haven't really had them before duirng an MC attack. Perhaps as Matthew suggests it's dehydration. Best plan is to try not to worry about anything too much. I've come to the conclusion that when I have an attack, it doesn't really matter why I had it or when it's going to be over. It is what it is. That has helped me relieve some of the stress of the situation. Sort of "giving yourself over to it."
Hope you are on the mend soon.
