I think I finally GET IT! I have jokingly said to my husband I feel like I'm sneezing from the wrong place. My gut is having a giant allergy attack- I just have to figure out the allergens! The Dr. in Vegas seemed to be so proud of himself for making the LC & CC DX that he failed to inform me of how to stay healthy! Handing me a bottle of Asacol and limodil has done me some good, but I can't live like this- I'm 31 and my face is sinking inward and I worry if I pass gas if it'll be just air! I can't thank all of you enough- my next Dr is in for a treat when I show up with the print outs from Tex and Mike about certain tests! When I had colonoscopy #1 they ruled out Celiac but never said I could still be gluten sensitive! It was months before anyone said lay off the dairy- I was eating egg whites with toast and butter every morning and was SOOOOO sick! Finally a random friend mentioned to cut the butter- so I got both out of my routine and I felt so much better...DUH.

Someone mentioned pizza- that must be the one thing we all miss huh? I got a rice crust pizza at the grocery store- it has cheese on it though- but I wasn't too sick- seems that I can tolerate white cheeses in moderation.

I can't wait until the 25th to see this new GI Dr- granted he's military...the nice thing about some military Drs is they are so uniformed they let the patients tell them what to do- so when I show up with how I want things done and what labs we'll be sending them to...hopefully he'll comply. I'm just ready to have control- and decrease the leaky gut.

Off to do the yoga gig!

Hi There,

Just a quick comment because I am rushing. As long as you have a military doctor load on the tests. Get something out of our tax dollars.

Hiya AerobicsMOM---

Perfect words----(almost anyways)---SIMPLE MIXED WITH COMPLEX

U are sounding better----and know U will continue to do better and better--

Thankfully my issues arent as bad as others ----
Briefly---my first GI was a *dud* and did nothing for me---then I went to the city---and there I was TREATED properly---

I watch most everything----but @ times I have to *sneak* in a small *no-no* thing--suffer for it but  worth the treat!!!

Where do U do YOGA----when I am home---I attend YOGA MOUNTAIN--when here in AZ--*-SNOWBIRDING*---I go to a rec. center and work out there----

Glad U got the advice U needed----our *home* has some very SHARP FOLKS--IN THE INFORMATION ADVICE DEPARTMENT~~~~

By the way, AerobicsMamma,

I believe you are the one who originally suggested that we should have a T Shirt with our log. You were away from the board when the shirts finally arrived, but if you will email or PM me your mailing address, I'll send you one by priority mail, free of charge. Since it was your idea, you should certainly have one.

The shirt is white, but there are two options for the logo. You can see what they look like here:

Just tell me which one you prefer, and ne sure to let me know what size you want, also.

Tex

P S The same offer is open to any other member who wants one - just let me know.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

By jove, she's GOT it! Congrats on your "AHA" moment! That's exactly how I felt when I figured out the whole gluten thing. I also had a negative classic celiac test but in fact have major gluten sensitivity.

Sounds like you're on your way to remission. It will take a while but you will get there!

Your last paragraph had me laughing so much! BTW, very rarely has anyone's GI doc here been receptive or excited about learning new things from their patient, so don't be disappointed if you are not taken seriously. It has happened to the best of us. LOL!

Keep us posted.

Love,

Polly
